Pachmarhi, popularly known as 'Satpura ki Rani' (Queen of Satpura) sits beautifully amidst the Satpura range. Pachmarhi gets its name from Hindi words ‘Pach’ (five) and ‘Marhi’ (caves). The history of Pachmarhi dates back to the Mahabharata era.
